Cam Nam Island is known for her many Arica palm trees. On this tree the 'beetlenut' grows. Elderly Vietnamese ladies are chewing on this nut to get 'beautiful' red/black teeth. Full Itinerary

During this tour you will see the local life on Cam Nam Island, one of the islands in the delta of the Thu Bon River. You will get a good impression of the local workshops and the traditional and daily life of the people on Cam Nam Island. There is much to be seen: a shipyard, local people who are making baskets, rice paper, cooking fish, carving wood, making shoes and more! It is possible to make a boat trip with locals from the 'Ba Tro Bridge' through an idyllic creek in a small rowing boat. This creek is surrounded by water coconut palm trees. It's a wonderful tour which is easy to do for everyone!
